Valletta - Grand Masters' Palace

The head of the Order of St. john was called the Grand Master, and the Grand Masters' Palace was, of course, his palace. Today this palace is home to Parliament as well as tourist attractions such as the armory (first four pictures above) and the palace state rooms (last picture above). Like St. John's Co-Cathedral, this building is truly remarkable. The armory houses a wide variety of weaponry from various periods in history. The state rooms contain spectacular works of art and fine furniture.
