Fire
There is a fire that burns within,
Keeping body and soul both warm.
And the only ones who feel its power
Are those who venture in from the storm.

Air
Staring out into the darkness,
Through the air, into the sky,
This darkness I cannot overcome,
Nor can I answer why.
|
Water
From a distance I hear a calling,
Far across the boundless sea.
Though, I still can't help but wonder
Whether that calling is truly for me.
|
Earth
Lying in the ground there rests a force,
Shrouded in its vast, dark, earthen den.
The force that perpetuates that grueling cycle,
Life and death, over and over again.
