The rain held off long enough to get through the performances, but it was still a very damp day

The deck was a bit wet from the storm that passed through just a few minutes earlier, but everything stayed dry otherwise. Then it was back down below to the VIP reception.

Boston seemed a lot more crowded this year. Could be the whole gas price thing...

4 July 2008 - Sudbury 4th of July Parade

There was just enough time in the day's schedule to fit in one more parade, so Sudbury it was... Lining groups up by the hog farm wasn't exactly the best way to say "Welcome to Sudbury." Running only a single shuttle bus that made the trip in the slowest way possible didn't help any. A large crowd turned out, many gathering in the street. Um, guys, you do know there's a parade coming through, right?

5 July 2008 - Harborfest Roving Performances

Blowing a bass drum head in the first piece isn't the best way to start out a full day of performances. Making the British turn tail and run away was a step in the right direction though.
